RE: Cleaners
Simple soap and water. It doesn't take much to clean your gear.
If you use tap water with high mineral content, you'll need to use a vinegar solution. You can use any soap that is okay with silicone. As long as you dry everything out, all is good. It is the moisture sitting around that invites stuff to party. As for the SoClean things, think of it this way. You put your dirty dishes in the ozone cleaner. They come out "sterile" (ish) but still have the food on them. Or you rinse your dirty dishes and put them in the ozone cleaner. Again, they come out with whatever food didn't wash off. You wash your dirty dishes and put them in the ozone cleaner. Perfect-ish solution but way way overkill. Restaurants just use very, very hot water to "sterilize" dishes AFTER washing them. If you are a germ-phobe, do all you can to appease that need. But if you aren't and just want to keep stuff clean, use soap and water, rinse very well, and let dry before use. Do this as often as you feel the need to. Oh, and change the filter whenever it looks like it needs it. I use the hand soap in the bathroom because I don't mind the smell. I use tap water (we have a spring) so I use a vinegar solution as a soak once a month or so. Some people are religious about cleaning their gear. Others let it slide. It is all about what YOU are comfortable with. The only gadget I'd consider getting would be a dishwasher like thingy that washed mask and hoses then blew them dry. No need to use the ozone crap.

RE: Cleaners
I use vinegar occasionally, or only if I've neglected to clean my hose, humidifier chamber for a long time.
If you use it, you will need to rinse alot to be rid of the smell. I usually wash nasal pillow every morning. Mask and headgear, hoses and humidifier chamber once a month. I only use warm water and Dawn liquid soap, rinse well, and air dry. I also only use distilled water in my humidifier. Never had any problems. Make it easy on yourself as you can. Pick the first of every month and wash. Don't forget to change the air filter too.

RE: Cleaners
Vinegar leaves a bit of a smell.
As a general rule Dawn dishwashing soap is the best...it cuts through oil(from your skin) that builds up on the mask and doesn't have much of a smell. Lot's of folks use distilled water(88 cents per gallon at Walmart) to avoid mineral buildup... the primary reason for using vinegar(mineral buildup) goes away. Some people live in environments where mold and mildew are a problem, so using something to clean out the hose and water bucket that will kill mold and mildew becomes important(vinegar kills mold and mildew).

RE: Cleaners
I use vinegar every now & then in my water chamber to get rid of mineral deposits. I just use regular tap water for the humidifier.
I empty it every morning. I use a bit of toilet paper to wipe it dry. Once in a while, my water chamber will run dry and leave a mineral deposit behind. When that happens, I use vinegar and let it soak for about 15 min. or so. I then rinse it with tap water. I have yet to experience any residual smell.

RE: Cleaners
I soak my water tank in WHITE vingar and warm water for about 5 mins, then rinse it with clean water and let it dry. This gets done once a week.
The hose gets washed when I am in the shower in the mornings, squirt a little hand soap down each end of the hose and fill up with shower water. Shake it a few times, then tip it all out. Then it gets rinsed 3 times with warm water and left hanging to dry over the shower hose. This is also a weekly thing. The silicone face mask and the hard plastic frame that it fits into, gets washed every morning in the shower and left to dry out of the sun. All these items get washed in the mornings, so they are nice and dry come bed time Hope this helps
Happy sleeping

RE: Cleaners
The wife and I stopped by Walmart today for a few groceries. I wanted to pick up a gallon of White Vinegar while we were there. The stuff I had on hand at home, was almost empty.
We could not find it on our own. We asked three employees for help. None had a clue. After a few minutes of following them around looking for it, I told my wife, that's it! We told them thanks for their help, but we'd stop @ a Safeway Store on the way home. They had a look of deer in the headlights as we walked away.

RE: Cleaners
As the others have said, vinegar is great for getting out the mineral stains. And it is also good for cleaning. If you want to really clean, use Control III. It's what hospitals and the like use. Sometimes I think about getting some (it comes in a bottle then you dilute it into another bottle) but then I'd have to use it.
