Did the H4i chamer change design?
At some point in the life cycle of the H4i humidifier, did the design change? Are there two variants of the H4i; and two variants of the tank?

There is an upgrade kit for the H3i humidifier which include H4i top cover/seal and H4i water tank
Just like H5i, two H4i water tank, one can be taken apart for cleaning and the other one cannot be taken apart

Just a bit of clarification:
The H4I humidifier goes with the S8 machines, and the H5I humidifier goes with the S9 machines. The H5I water chamber is a square tank and it has that piece in the middle and I'm not sure exactly what the H4I chamber looks like. Hope this helps.

For the H5i, which goes with the S9 series, there are 2 take apart tubs. The one that is dishwasher safe has a 3rd piece, kind of like a baffle, that fits about where the seal is along the edge. Not sure why it is there. The one that is not dishwasher safe does not have this piece.
I find that the dishwasher safe one, the yellow marker is easier to read. The print is larger and darker. The other one, I can't see it much at all. Drives me nuts.
