I don't trust the lamps in hotel rooms any more (especially as most of them put them on the nightstand). Another option is to find one of those old paint can holders and a velcro wiring bundle. Loop the velcro holder through the small slot on the hanger (where the paint can handle will go) and then find something convenient to hang the larger hook on (the hook that would normally go on the ladder rung). It is small and I have had decent luck with it. I also use a 10' hose and a hose buddy at home.
