[Equipment] F 20 size
#1
F 20 size
I bought a medium F20 and it seemed too small so I bought a large F 20 and it seems way too big. Is it just me or has anybody else found this to be the case?

RE: F 20 size
I found the f-20 does sit lower on the nose than the f-10 or others. I think it is born that way

For auto-cpap from machine data, or software. Set the min pressure at 'med' median pressure or 90% OR 2cm below 95% pressure. max pressure at 20cm for now. Forum will help you fine tune settings

Are the cushion sizes interchangeable to change sizes? Did you purchase two complete masks or just another cushion?

Does anybody know the size equivalence between a F&P Simplus and a Resmed F20?

For instance, does a Medium Simplus match a medium Resmed F20 in term of size?

tedgreen,
Look at some of the supplier's websites. Many have the sizing guide for each mask in a PDF format. The link for each guide is usually contained in the mask description.

Billhorn,
I am also in between sizes. I like the width of the large because it fits my mouth better but I like the height of the medium. I picked the large because I was getting leaks by my mouth with the medium but I did not like the way it sat on my nose. I wanted it to sit higher. Some people have cut the top head strap and sown in Velcro to make it adjustable. This allows you to raise the height of the mask.

They are interchangeable and I did buy two complete sets. I like the F 20 but I am surprised at how much difference there is between a medium and a large.

I can't really raise the large one up because it is already just below my eyes. It's a shame because if the size was between the two it would be perfect.

I found the width initially felt narrow too, It takes a week to break in.
I use my chin as the guide and it sits on my nose where it sits, the main thing is you don't have leaks around your nose.

I have Simplus medium and large and F20 Medium.
I took some pics to show the size differences.

Both Simplus masks are the same width as each other. 3-3/4" outside the cushion. the Medium F20 is 3-7/8" outside cushion.
