How to find Backup rate set in machine?
I wanted to be sure the Backup rate was set up in my bipap and can't find where it is from the displays on the machine. I have a Resmed Curve 10 S (or ST). Thank you....

If it's an S, it won't have a backup rate. If you go to the link at the top of the page, you can get the clinical manual for your machine.

This is how to get into settings, to see what your's are. In mode, it will show either cpap/S/ST. It will then go on and tell you the pressure settings and in ST mode, a backup rate. I wouldn't change anything, till you see the DME or doctor. You could also use sleepyhead to see how your machine is working on your apnea.

For auto-cpap, from machine data or software. You can set the min pressure 1 or 2cm below 95%. Or clinicians commonly use the maximum or 95% pressure for fixed pressure CPAP, this can also be used for min pressure.

Settings on your machine are accessed by pressing the control knob and home button at the same time, then selecting the settings menu by clicking on the knob. Scroll through the menu and you will find the backup rate with the selected setting. Pressing the control knob enters that menu and lets you change the BPM. The machine must be in ST mode, as BPM is not visible in S mode.
