Delete ResScan Data
Thanks to those who answered my previous question on SD cards. I'm cool now on that.

New question is: How do I delete old data in ResScan? I'm on a Mac using Parallels and Windows 7 and getting messages that I'm nearly out of space. I'm willing to jettison the old data much of which has been copied to my Mac using screen shots.

Okay let's see what we've got here.
In the menu bar I select "Tools"
Then "Patient Manager"
I can delete a group. I can delete a patient.
Patient group location: C:\Users\Public\Documents\ResMed\ResScan3\Patients
You can look there and see what you can wipe out.
I also see 19 "sample" patients listed. You can try deleting some of these. On my machine they take up 348 megs. Try deleting some of these. You should get your extra space.

RE: Delete ResScan Data
Thanks. I've already ditched the examples that Resmed had in the file as well as extraneous patients I had created. I'm willing to get rid of all my data since I've copied the contents of the SD card into a file folder in OSX and can put it back into an SD if needed. Whenever I delete a patient, the data retained in ResScan some how gets dumped back into any New Patient I create.

I'll keep trying but ideas will be gratefully received.

Hey, "ugly" is in the eyes of the beholder. Hang in there, buddy.

I guess I'm lucky. I'm 83, been on CPAP for 18 yrs, and lead a full active life.

The problem is every time you create a patient and go to download data, it downloads ALL the data that is on the card.

But just dumping the card's contents won't be enough.

As soon as you put it back in the machine, it will write onto it whatever data the machine has. This will be 7 days worth of detailed data and up to 365 basic data. And this will again be downloaded onto your computer.

Do you have an external drive you can save the user data to?
