[Equipment] Old Rx and supplier 2 + oximeter
#1
Old Rx and supplier 2 + oximeter
I have an Rx from august 2009 -- well actually a copy, not an original.
It says: BIPAP= 14/9 cm with 2 liters O2.
Heated Humidifier
Mask of choice

I'd really like to get a newer S9 machine. Supplier #2 has good deals on "open box, zero hour" machines. They indicate an old Rx is not a problem.

1) Would you feel comfortable that these machines are sterile?
2) To replace my S8 VPAP S, I would get the same only as an S9.
-- OR, should I get an Auto machine?
3) If I wanted an Auto, I wonder if that Rx would fly...
4) I expect to pay out of pocket.

Having PsaO2 data would be nice. I have a Nonin that is good for spot checks; but would like to have a record of overnight data.
Supplier 19 seems like the place to go. Which recording pulseox meter?

If the machine "open box zero hours" than its a new machine never been used
Their used machines are thoroughly cleaned comes with new hoses, filters and new humidifier water tank

I would never want anything but an auto machine.
Started with an S9 Autoset for about 3 years. Then moved to a PRS 1 ASV machine.

Auto gives you the opportunity to do your own titration study every night, in your own bed without out being wired to every part of your body.
