I can't tell exactly where the humming is originating; it seems like from the machine itself. I have it on a thin towel.
Thanks for your response; hopefully it'll go away or I'll be so tired that I'll actually sleep.

Is the hum constant, or does it start after the CPAP has been in use for a period of time? Are you using a heated humidifier? If so, try turning it off to see if the hum ceases.

My humidifier is not heated. The hum starts after a few hours of use, continues on and off for about another hour, and then stops.
