Tooth Extraction - Should I sleep without CPAP until healed?

RE: Tooth Extraction - Should I sleep without CPAP until healed?
You will need to confirm with your oral surgeon. In my case, I had a rear wisdom tooth that had never grown out and had to be removed. First night, I started having bubbles come up through the wound.

The cause was positive pressure in the sinus and the pressure pushed up into the wound.

Teeth are very close to the sinus. Wisdom and upper molars especially have issues. My surgeon had to pack something in the hole and I had to lay off CPAP for two weeks. For the next six months, I would occasionally get bubbles.

I use a chin strap to keep from using my tongue to apply pressure.  I just had an upper molar removed and I’m sleeping in the recliner without a CPAP for 14 days.
