Wrist Oximeter CMS-50F
Caution about the accuracy of the CMS-50F wrist probe/recorder.
I bought one from eBay, the readings were 5-7% low. The price is considerably lower than those listed in Amazon. The price I paid was $80 with free shipping. At first it seems to be a nifty gadget. However, its readings were not very accurate, although both the hardware and software work. I have returned it for a refund.
Sincerely,

OK, I'll bite. What did you use to determine the 5-7% difference?

Compare with AllynWelch Vitals Station and several other finger oixmeters.

Must depend on the unit. Mine is dead on with my sleep doctors machine.

That's not unusual with devices made in China. I don't think they have strict specifications compliance under control yet. Good to know you get a good unit. Anyway, the manufacturer, Contec, does not specify the wrist oximeter is a medical device.
