sleep appliance
Recently saw an advertisement for a sleep appliance backed up by the American Sleep Dentistry. They claim its FDA approved and can replace my bi-pap machine. Has anyone had any experiences with sleep appliance? Are they safe to use? I looked back at previous posts and they were from 2012 2014 so I wanted to see if anyone can offer new information. Thank you for your time.

The only thing I know about it is what I've read here. Most of what I've read is not good for the dental appliances.

Search for "dental appliance" and you will find lots of recent threads.
The bottom line is that they are only partially effective and result in permanent bite changes. They are better than nothing if (a) they work for your anatomy and (b) you absolutely cannot tolerate CPAP/BiPAP etc. *PAP machines are the gold standard in treatment.

Could be the Inspire therapy that uses electronic stimulation to keep the airway open. This device requires a minor surgical implant.

WELCOME! to the forum.! CPAP therapy is the gold standard for sleep apnea. Are you having trouble with machine settings or getting used to it? I wish you good luck on your CPAP journey.
