According to AASM titration protocol if pressure threshold of 15 cm H2O is reached - switch to Bi-level

How do I switch to Bi-Level???

I believe Zonk was talking about a Bo-Level machine, a BiPAP. WE have CPAP, APAP (Auto), BiPAP (Bi-Level), VPAP (Variable), and it seems I am missing one, but I just woke up! If your sleep study shows a pressure threshold of 15 they should prescribe a bi-pap according to standard protocol.

You would need to switch machines! Bilevel (BiPAP) machines are more expensive.

If you have pain and your doctor says all is normal, you need a new doctor.

Do you have insurance? If so, you can go to their website and find a list of doctors, ENT doctors, and sleep doctors who are in their network.

Do yourself a favor and find a new doctor!
