Event hierarchy
Is there an event hierarchy as to which events are most important to control? I know leaks are very high on my list. Even small leaks can wake me up. Controlling some events can aggravate others such as raising pressure to minimize OAs can increase leaks and/or centrals.
CPAP is a journey like “The Wizard of Oz”. It’s a long slow journey. You will face many problems and pick up many friends along the way. Just because you reach the poppies, it doesn’t mean you are in Kansas.

RE: Event hierarchy
One of the experts will come along soon and provide a better and more detailed answer.
Beginning with least bad and going to the worst, the event hierarchy is: centrals (unless you have a truckload of them) flow limitations hypopnea obstructives As Rcgop has mentioned, leaks need to be handled. Although they are not "events" in the hierarchy, they are very important.

RE: Event hierarchy
I think I used “events” incorrectly. I was including things like leaks, RERAs, comfort items, EPR/ pressure support. Anything tha can make treatment better.
