F&P Vitera Assembly Whistles Help
I have the F&P Vitera Assembly and I love the fit. The problem I am having is that occasionally during the night the assemble whistles. I have adjusted cushion, there are no leaks however the intermittent whistle persists. I would hate to stop using this headgear because it is very comfortable. Any suggestions?

Hi kevgould! -
My Vitera (or Simplus for that matter) makes excessive noise is when the hose and elbow are rotated to the 12 o'clock position and sitting in front of the exhaust port. Another reason may be your humidity is set high enough so that condensation is starting to form in the exhaust orifices.

Thanks for the suggestion. The noise happens in every position. I am going to try lowering humidity and turning on the heated hose. There have been suggestions that there is a humidity build up. I concur that there has been a new build up since trying this new mask.

Try this, pull your cushion off the frame and reinstall it. Be certain it's seated fully on the frame.
