F&P Vitera Mask Whistles and Vents Too Much

F&P Vitera Mask Whistles and Vents Too Much
I pulled a brand new F&P Viteria out of the bag a couple nights ago and it whistles through the vent grid!

I thought I was hearing a leak, but after fiddling with it, I covered some of the vent holes with my finger, and viola, the whistling is gone!

Of course because I've owned it more than 90 days (even though I never used it) its out of warranty.

I also found that when I try to do the Mask Fit check on my AirSense 10 with this one, it will never pass unless I cover up some of the grid. (Even if I jam the mask to my face.)

My previous copy of this mask did not do this.

Any thoughts?
Brian

FWIW pass on the mask fit grades. You may want to use it to get high test pressures when adjusting masks but skip looking at the grinning ghoul.

I used the Vitera and the vent is strong and breezy. But I get consistently good leak rates with control and comfort.
