This is a support group for people afflicted with sleep apnea. Our mission is to help them, so the more people who know about us the better, as far as I'm concerned.

Who knows, we may even become numerous enough to have a voice that's heard by legislators and manufacturers. We want laws that allow us to use our insurance to buy from online DME's at the same prices as brick and mortar DME's. This will make things more convenient for us and lower the prices we pay for equipment and for insurance.

We want manufacturers to recognize that we are the ones buying the machines. That way they will cater to our needs with better software applications. We might even make bricks obsolete.

I agree with you Sleepster, my sleep problems lead to me losing my job! Sleep problems AFFECT jobs! But nobody bothers to address this issue!! INCLUDING health insurance, no one from my job insurance ever addressed my sleep apnea.

I enjoy being with a group who like to share their "Hosehead" experiences, to remind me I am not alone.

Yes, we do have it good here. And most of us found our way here by a search engine.

One of the Engineering newsletters I follow just said that their FB page was taken down because of a fake complaint.

"Two reports were made over a video that we posted on our Facebook page recently, and with little investigation, Facebook has restricted our ability to post. These reports were made by someone who used faulty email addresses posing as a copyright holder, and Facebook claims that they have to comply, even though these reports are obviously fake"

Using FlashAir W-03 SD card in machine. Access through wifi with FlashPAP or Sleep Master utilities.

I wanted to learn Binary so I enrolled in Binary 101. I seemed to have missed the first four courses. Big Grinnie

I thought that if you want to make a complaint, you have to own it, tell your name for it to be legit... is this NOT true?? Does Fb not have guidelines to be followed to make complaints against someone? Obviously not as they took the word by an ambiguous identity... so much for their scruples (or lack there of).

This was a nice rant by the social media challenged administrator, but are we done here? I've made a lot of money owning Facebook stock and I enjoy keeping up with Mark Watkins who has pretty much moved Sleepyhead interactive comments to Facebook. I had a problem with Facebook for a while when I learned of my granddaughter's birth on Facebook, but then I realized it was a son-in-law fail, not Facebook's. Seriously, most FB problems are self-inflicted. Let me know if you need any help. I figure at least I've been well compensated.

Facebook isn't even worth discussing here any more. It's a non-issue, and for the most part, it's completely irrelevant to anything that's really important in life. Those who think it is relevant to real life need to get a life, IMHO.

Our country's obsession with the importance of social media is sad. Everyone's got their head buried in a smartphone or iPad and somehow can't communicate via non-digital methods. People have forgotten how to have discussions and conversations with their mouths and ears.

Facebook is doing more to destroy people and tear them apart than it is to bring them together. That's a fact.

And Mr. Punk Zuckerberg is laughing all the way to the bank.

thread closed.
