Look in the lower right of the Daily Screen at the drop-down checkbox. See if Flow Rate is unchecked.

Just thought of something that really helped me, and might apply to you. How old is your soft collar? They lose their effectiveness over time. Recently, I replaced my soft collar and my positional apneas declined a lot. (19 to 5!) My collar was 8 months old. It seemed ok, but wasn't. Hope this helps.

Thanks happydreams, that's a good point about the age of collars.
TiredOne, another thing to look at is style and size. If the collar is too loose, your jaw can drop and chin falls below instead of being supported. There is no doubt that the clusters of Obstructives are positional. We see it all the time.

RE: Feeling Bad Over Good Scores: Help Please
Great suggestion about collar age. Mine is 4 months old, so it is relatively new. I started wearing it July 1, 2020. I will tighten it up a bit tonight and look for a new style collar, as well. When I went to Lincare today, they suggested sleeping on my side while wearing the collar. They also made certain that my mask F30 wasn't hitting any pressure points. They turned off the EPR, but told me I could turn it back on. They also said let my doctor know that I've changed the pressure from 5 to 7. He may want to do a new titration. (I hope not.) Thank you happydreams and OpalRose. Any other suggestions? I am relieved that the obstructive apneas are positional. Any other suggestions?
Tired One.

RE: Feeling Bad Over Good Scores: Help Please
If you don't feel successful with the "For Her" mode, you can switch to the Auto mode (Standard). That may help with Obstructives a little better.
Right now, I wouldn't suggest a pressure change until we see if you can conquer the positional sleep issue.

RE: Feeling Bad Over Good Scores: Help Please
Hello. Since I posted in November, I changed my minimum pressure to 7, the EPR to 2, and began wearing a soft cervical collar (SCC). The SCC was a gamechanger, but I’m still not rested.
I switched from the full-face mask (Airfit F30) (caused headaches) back to my favorite Airfit P10 nasal mask and mouth taping. I did try changing the EPR to 3, but my Flow Limits were .33 (95%) and .44 (Max) I felt it was trying to make me exhale before I was ready, so I switched the EPR back to 2. Much better. Also, I read with interest about the A10 for Her “soft mode” reducing flow limits in the woman who conducted her own research. http://www.apneaboard.com/forums/Thread-Product-Review-Migrating-from-S9-Autoset-to-Airsense-10-Comparing-Therapy-Modes (My Autoset10 does not have the “soft mode”.) I’m eligible through Medicare for a new machine in September. I am shopping for a new machine now and am looking to you for guidance. Attached is a recent OSCAR chart. Please take a look and tell me what you think, or which charts you would like for me to attach. Thank you in advance. Still the TiredOne

RE: Feeling Bad Over Good Scores: Help Please
Your therapy is effective from the standpoint of AHI, but the flow limitations are persistent and would benefit from a Vauto bilevel. The Vauto can provide more pressure support, and has controls to allow longer inspiration time and to slow down the cycling to EPAP.

Second to Sleepriders VAuto recommendation.
Complain to your doc that you are still "feeling BAD", be prepared to elaborate. Your symptoms will drive toward a VAuto. Ask your doc for a VAuto prescription to relieve your symptoms, it can't hurt, and it will do wonders for your flow limitations. Show your doc how consistent they are thru the night. This is to get your insurance to cover it.
