Yes I am going to, I'm just getting sick of all the doctors appointments at this point

Cheesehead, I know how you are feeling as I am basically going through same as you and was sent away with, well try and work it out for yourself. I was told he would prefer me not to take the stay awake medications.
I was also told my AHI'S were perfect as were my leaks, come back and see us in twelve months.
So much for a sleep specialist.
I hope for your sake and I hope you don't take this the wrong way, but I hope they may find something wrong when they test you for other things, something that will give you a reason for this terrible tiredness you are feeling.
Otherwise, like me and many others I am sorry to say we just have to try and work this tiredness in to our daily lives, doing all we can to treat and live with it the best ways we possibly can.
I know that is not something you want to hear at this stage, that is why I hope your tests are able to find a reason for you. Then they will be able to treat it.
I will have my fingers and everything else crossed for you.

It's possible that they will find a cause. But it may end up that they can't find a cause and will still be able to treat it. Some people need the help of drugs to get them over the hump. In many cases it's a choice between putting up with the insomnia and daytime tiredness or taking a drug that helps with the symptoms. The cause of the problem is not known, but it is known that the drugs relieve the symptoms.

Sometimes we just have a tired-all-the-time feeling gained from years or decades of suffering with obstructive sleep apnea.

Just to update everyone After doing more research on my own, I am almost 100% sure I have narcolepsy. I have experienced several symptoms. I have had hallucinations while falling asleep, sleep paralysis and excessive daytime sleepiness. I told my primary care doctor and he is sending me to see a neurologist in a couple weeks so hopefully this will solve my problems.

Cheesehead, I hope the Neurologist will be able to help you and you will be feeling better in no time.
All the best.
