Finally received SD card from Apria, inserted it, now can't find info.

The SD slot in your printer is only set up to transfer print files to the printer itself. It won't allow you to copy files to your computer.

You will need an in-expensive USB adaptor, as others have mentioned.

Go to Best Buy and tell them you need the adapter sd cards for your MacBook. It’s not cheap but that is your only option that I know of. I’m not sure if there are any aftermarket adapters

I just googled it. You can get one relatively cheap on amazon or go to Best Buy so you don’t have to wait. Or any electronic store. You need the usb-c to sd card adapter. Apple has their own but it’s $40. Just don’t go to cheap because sometimes apples operating system doesn’t like cheap knockoffs and it won’t function

Sorry for my ignorance.

Possibly.  The ResMed program (ResScan) is Windows only.  In your second post you referenced OSCAR as not being Mac compatible.  Typo maybe?
They are two different programs.  ResScan software is made by ResMed (your machine Mfg) and is typically for clinical use.
OSCAR is developed and maintained by some very talented volunteer members of this forum and (in my opinion) is much better than ResScan.

The SD card will be fine.  It's just an off the shelf SD card with a ResMed sticker on it.

Thank you very much for the information!

I did put the card into the CPAP after so even though Apria said it should, it probably didn’t.

Ok, I get where your confused.

When you mentioned email above, I knew you were referring to ResMed software (ResScan).
ResScan software only works with Windows.

The OSCAR software (which is what we prefer you use will work with your Mac.  You will need to buy an SD card Reader for your Mac.

Also, the SD card must be in your Cpap at night while you sleep, or you will only get summary data.

RE: Finally received SD card from Apria, inserted it, now can't find info.
Hi all.

I purchased the SD card reader and hooked it up to my MAC.

As a member stated, I realize there probably isn’t any detailed data at the moment because I didn’t have the card in the CPAP before I used the machine last night.  However, it has been mentioned that I might be able to at least see some summaries.

So, I inserted the SD card into my computer.I didn’t see the little warning about locking the card before inserting into the Mac so I pulled the card out, locked it, and reinserted it.  I probably already messed it up?

Hoping I didn’t mess it up, I continued on.  I clicked on the CPAP Importer Icon.  At this point things did not go as per the starting info listed.  As the card info (if anything is on there) was importing, a progress bar box was showing.  In the box there was a choice to choose file and a cancel box.  I didn’t see anything in the instructions about this so I clicked choose file.  A window opened but it is a Mac finder window and I didn’t see anything that looked right to open.  Somehow, not sure why or how, I created a file named Oscar.  I thought maybe this file is needed to put any data in?

But I think this was wrong to do because I can’t even open it to see if anything is in it.

I went back and read the instructions and they say I just put the card in and a small pop up box is supposed to appear with verbiage stating CPAP Data Located, and a bunch of other stuff written like woul you like to import from this location?  But I never got this box/window pop up.  Is this because there simply isn’t ANYTHING on the card?

Should I uninstall OSCAR, remove the SD card, unlock the card, put it back in my CPAP, sleep tonight with the unlocked card in the machine, wake up and remove card, lock it, reinstall OSCAR, reinsert the card into computer, THEN I’ll get the pop up box and continue from there?

Yikes, I’m pretty lost.

I look forward to your guidance.

Lol, so simple.

(And just to be sure,  I don’t need to worry about uninstalling and reinstalling OSCAR, and don’t worry about the OSCAR file folder I created ? correct?)

Ty!
