Fine tuning settings
#1
Was wondering if I should adjust my pressures to see if it helps reduce/eliminate hypopneas. On last nights chart all of the hypopneas and one of the two OA's occurred when at the minimum pressure of 8cm. Would adjusting the min pressure to 9cm have an impact? Also have noticed that I don't exceed 12cm on the max so changing that setting shouldn't have any effect. Everything else looks pretty good to my untrained eye, would appreciate input from those more experienced.

Hi Cranberry Ray,
You could just raise your minimum to 9 CmH2O, and leave your maximum where it is and see how that works for you, do hang around for other suggestions though, 2 or more heads are better than one.

You're on the right track and a change in pressure of 1-cm isn't going to hurt anythng. Another option, since you're fine-tuning, just change .5 cm.

SR good suggestion. I'm in this for the long haul so going slow with adjustments won't hurt anything. Finally noticing a difference in my fatigue so I think I headed in the right direction.

Happy Friday all!Cool

I am several years into cpap. I keep working to improve my sleep and oxygen. It is making life better. Not all of the changes work out as hoped for. I make a change as give it time to work and see what happens.

With the help of this forum I am not on my own in the dark.

Thanks
