As the past seems to teach us, don't expect updated software/upgrades as this is rare for CPAP devices. It's not like there's many complaints like there are on cell phones and such like.

Thanks Dave, based off some of the stuff I read is it safe to assume that once a CPAP machine is out then almost no patches are made and if they are it seems like there is no significant improvement or features added? Also no publication as to what the patches contain?

As far as my understanding about this subject goes, you’re correct on both. I’ve heard about an update for I think ResMed’s S9 many years ago to fix some shortcoming that of assumed medium or higher importance. Assuming we’re dealing with normal operational procedures, or otherwise even, I’d say don’t expect software updates unless we encounter extreme difficulties in most machines out there.

PS but if for whatever reason an update is necessary, I’d believe we’d be informed.

Mine won’t be able to do games, but it will get a coffee app from Dunkin Donuts. It’s used to gain wireless control of the coffee machine strapped to the side of the humidifier.
