First Night!

First Night!
I wanted to introduce myself. I am Ginger Man. I've had OSA for probably three years now after I had a leg injury then put on a ton of weight, got into brewing beer, girl troubles, blah blah blah. I finally decided enough is enough and sought treatment.

I was prescribed a ResMed Airsense 10. I was happy with this model as it currently looks to be the best. My pressure goes up to 11 just like my amps! I had great success in my second sleep study when they hooked me up to the machine. I am so excited to go to bed tonight!!

I can't wait to be able to go camping again without keeping half the park up all night! I've ordered the 12v cable and will run it off of a jumpstart battery.

Thanks and Sleep-well

Hi GingerMan512,
WELCOME! to the forum.!
Make sure you look through the threads on camping with CPAP, there are several such threads, and lots of great information to guide you on what you need to connect your machine up to a battery.
Good luck to you on your first night of CPAP.

Gingerman, good luck and keep us posted on your progress. Also, do you still homebrew? I'm kinda partial to a Russian Imperial Stout in winter and IPA in Summer. So good luck, and welcome.

Welcome

Be careful, you don't want to crush the Stonehenge monument.
Using FlashAir W-03 SD card in machine. You can download your data through wifi with FlashPAP or Sleep Master utilities.

I wanted to learn Binary so I enrolled in Binary 101. I seemed to have missed the first four courses. Big Grinnie

Stick it to the man, Download OSCAR and take back control of your data!

Thanks Ian. Like I didn't have enough Honey-Do projects to tackle. Mornincoffee

Thanks you everyone for the support. I had a pretty awesome night sleep. It of course took me a bit to get used to sleeping with the nasal mask on but I did fall asleep pretty easily. I popped the tube off of the mask at some point. I ended up turning off the ramp up because I'd doze off but wake right back up due to lack of air. Once I was at full pressure I fell right asleep.

I tried attaching a screenshot from ResMed but It wont let me. My overall sleep score was 94/100 so I'm happy Smile

RE: First Night!
So throughout today I've been a little sleepy and dozed off once. But overall I'm much more alert and energized than "usual". Time seems to be going by much quicker but I'm sure that's just in my head Wink

I just ordered the 12v adapter and some aromatherapy mumbojumbo that will arrive Friday.
