Chart is good, and AHI is okay, but there is a lot of residual flow limitation and RERA. If you are using EZ Start turn that option off, otherwise, I think you're going to really be surprised at the positive changes with the Resmed. I will suggest that you use minimum pressure 9.0, maximum pressure 14.0 and EPR 3 on the Autoset when it arrives. The higher pressure will be offset by the use of 3-cm of exhale pressure relief.

RE: First Night with CPAP.. some questions
whats residual flow limitation exactly?
wonder how much dif ill feel with resmed over this one why is ramp bad? isnt that what lets you get to sleep before going full on preasure?

RE: First Night with CPAP.. some questions
All the time you are on ramp you are not getting any therapy. If you get up in the night to use the restroom that is another ramp time. All of that time adds up. Out of 7 hours of sleep you could easily miss 2 hours of therapy.

RE: First Night with CPAP.. some questions
On a ResMed, Ramp is automatically going to drop pressure to whatever it's set to for a certain timed duration at the beginning of every session. On Respironics like what's in the recent chart, you'd have to push the Ramp button. Why isn't Ramp good? Due to what Ramp does, holding pressure lower than optimal therapy pressures, it diminishes therapy and can let events sneak past.
Residual flow limits probably is in reference to flow limits that still linger after a prior adjustment to address them.
