First SleepyHead stats--Ugly???

This doesn't look good to me. Observations? I'm curious about that entry at the bottom concerning prescription change. ???

It doesn't look bad. AHI could be a little better. You are showing mostly Obstructives, which may mean a pressure adjustment.

Your 90% pressure is bumping up to your maximum setting of 10, so the max should be raised.
It also would make sense to raise your minimum pressure from 4 to at least 7. A minimum of 4 is pretty low and too far away from your 90% number.

It would be easier to advise if you would post a screenshot from the Daily Page.
But for now, I recommend a pressure range of 7 min to 12 max.

Nothing to worry about the perscription changes at the bottom. It will start a new line whenever you make any change, like you made with the EPR setting.

Here is a link to help with posting the information that is most helpful to us.

The only way the Doctor communicates with the DME is on the prescription so if you change anything that was written there it is technically a "prescription change" but you did not change the "therapy" so even the Doctor won't care. Some Doctors (most?) don't even care if you change the therapy pressures. Insurance only cares that you are using the machine and that you are showing improvement-it's working.

Simple solution...raise the minimum pressure. Your stats are pretty easy to interpret, and I agree with OpalRose's assessment.

RE: First SleepyHead stats--Ugly???
Opal,

When my son was about 18 months old, I'd put him in front of a master console for a (then) large mainframe computer that was in a fish bowl at a college.

We'd watch as the college kids would walk by in awe seeing a little kid working (in his case playing) on the keyboard and using a light pen on the master console. (He couldn't hurt anything)

When he was a tad older, I had a $50K monitor in my office that he would come in and play with. (I'd written several games to run on our corporate mainframe for him, Sub-hunt, Drag Race, Mouse Hunt and a few others) He never fought me when it was time to leave.

Now, we have these hand held devices with more memory and horsepower than the machines my son started with..

These devices are the new "Heroin" for our little ones..

I know, I worry about stuff like that. But so far, when I limit her computer time, she just finds something else to do.

I have another sleep study scheduled for tomorrow night. I feel better going in armed with some knowledge from the great folks on this forum!

Thanks!

RE: First SleepyHead stats--Ugly???
yep, I agree-your pressure could be raised a bit. Any reason you are on CPAP instead of APAP? Your centrals are low now, if you were on APAP before was that causing centrals? Things look basically good, there should be no problem with knocking those hypopneas and OA's down a bit more.

Looks like you are sleeping through the night, that's a good thing. How are you feeling in the morning?
