Hey that rocks. Congrats. SHa_clap2

Quote:I never saw the new perscription for the Auto from the dr. (who talked to the DME and wanted to know why I wanted the Auto in the first place- the DME fought for me!!), so did he maybe have to set it at 7-20?

I would hope they had an obligation to set it to the prescribed pressure. Perhaps you can ask the doctor. My set pressure was 7-14, for example.

Quote:2) should the EPR be set on?
3) What is smart start and what should that be set at?

If you find it beneficial to exhale towards a lower pressure, then try it. I've tried various settings and the other day I just turned it off. Each person is different.

And Smart Start. That's an interesting and helpful gimmick.
Put your mask on and start breathing into it. This starts up your machine. Take your mask off and the CPAP shuts off after a few seconds. I find it really helpful instead of reaching half awake for the power button.

I too get a stiff neck at times, but it's better than waking up dead. Smile
