Flashair help requested can't connect

RE: Flashair help requested can't connect
Ok, must be a different program I am mis-remembering. I do remember the program opened with a window in the upper left corner of the screen, rather than in the center like the FWupdate tool does.

Many thanks, but no go ... sigh ...  PITA to have to pull the card, but Oscar is so helpful.  MyAir gives even less info than DreamMapper ... Hopefully I'll get the settings tweaked enough on my new Resmed AS10 soon and won't need to keep checking.

You have sparked my curiosity.  Does your FlashAir look like either one of these?  If so, which one?

CN, if you can walk me through the steps, I can image my 16GB W-04 card. I used that imaging program just once and don't even remember the name.

RE: Flashair help requested can't connect
I have used the Linux "dd" command to image the FlashAir.  Any bootable Linux image, USB or CD/DVD, will work for this operation.

The command would look something like, "sudo dd if=~/sd-card-copy.img of=/dev/mmcblk0 bs=4M status=progress"
The "if" is the input file and would be the image file name and location.  The "of" is the output location, in this case it is the SD card's address in the system. The card's address can be acquired by executing, "sudo fdisk -l".  Also, make sure it is unmounted by using, "sudo umount /dev/mmcblk0", prior to trying to write the image. Oh!, the bs=4M, is telling dd to use a 4 MB block size. I'll let the status=progress be a surprise. Big Grin

Well, whatever technique I used before, that wasn't it (since I am running Windows 10).

Here is a link to a free Windows version of "dd": https://sourceforge.net/projects/win32diskimager/

I hope it may help.

I found the website for the FlashAir W-04 and W-03 documentation and files.

https://personal.kioxia.com/en-emea/supp...ducts.html

You will need to scroll down and expand the line labeled, "SD Memory Card with Wireless LAN". The cards are listed with the W-04 first and the W-03 next.

Toshiba used the same filename with a small "w" and "m" to differentiate between the Windows and Mac version. I just realized this and wanted to make sure I sent the correct one. Here is the correct the FlashAir W-04 firmware update file for Windows: https://www.dropbox.com/s/a8xt8hp7enkcre...w.zip?dl=0
