Flow limitation - mouth breathing

Flow limitation - mouth breathing
Last night seemed quite typical of my recent results with a lot of "flow limitations" and some leaks. I think the leaks are unavoidable because my nose often gets restricted and I must use my mouth to breathe - yet a full face mask is unsupportable for me - so many leakages.

Even when I use nose-spray (this fixes the restriction) I tend to revert to mouth-breathing. In this case can you recommend tape on the mouth?

Comments on the attached report would be much appreciated however.

See an ENT specialist so can be checked the reason for the restriction

I don't recommend taping and can be dangerous in your case especially since your nose get blocked
I would try full face mask again (same one or different one) and set the machine at fixed pressure so leak can be better controlled as pressure stay constant throughout the night

I don't have any of your issues except leaks. Humidified air actually clears my sinuses.
But, I stopped my leaks by switching to the RespCare HYBRID FFM. You might want to take alook at it. Other advice you were suggested sounds good to me.

Luck to you,

Love your family, treat your friend(s) well, and don't waste your time. Everything else is just so much BS. Sleep-well

Zonk and Otrpu:
Thanks for the input - I know I need my nasal passages to be widened but having seen the gruesome job that entails I shall keep trying to train myself to nose-breathe unless impossible - then I daresay I shall use my mouth (at least I hope so).
