Need Help. Might have UARS or REM only Sleep apnea

RE: Need Help. Might have UARS or REM only Sleep apnea
You are correct! EPR is the inverse of Pressure Support (PS) on a true bi-level system. EPR subtracts its value from the Inhale pressure setting on a standard CPAP. Whereas, "PS" is added to the exhale pressure setting on a bi-level machine. Resmed advertises the EPR option as a comfort option. In reality, it can be used to a limited degree to act as a pseudo bi-level. The true PS allows for a greater pressure difference than the EPR and can be set to a higher resolution (.2 versus 1).
