mouth breathing with full face mask

mouth breathing with full face mask
I use a full face mask, and if I open my mouth while the machine is running, there is no violent exit of air from my mouth....so I want to know, can I have my mouth open when using my machine, since I think the incoming air is directed at the same destination as when I inhale/exhale throught my nose... Thanks

RE: mouth breathing with full face mask
That is the main reason fora full face mask, mouth breathing. It will not eliminate dry mouth but it does help. I have no idea why anyone would use a FFM other than mouth breathing.

You likely will need a slightly higher pressure if you mouth breathe much, but it works just fine. Definitely can result in dry mouth, but there are products out there to help mitigate that too.
