Getting ResScan

Getting ResScan
Hi all,

I have a few questions about ResScan.
Note that I am not asking about a comparison with Oscar, or where to get Oscar.

1. Is there any way I can get here the installer for ResScan?

2. Can I get it elsewhere?

3. Can it be used under Linux, with wine? (I know I could always install a Windows guest OS in a VM).

Thanks!

RE: Getting ResScan
You will find the ResScan software v5.9 & v6.1 in the "Private Files and Links Forum."

It is recommended that you use v5.9 as v6.1 requires a username and password login.

ResScan is Windows based only.

RE: Getting ResScan
ResScan is a Windows only application. It requires access to the SD card reader on your computer. Wine does not seem to provide this connection. I have never been successful in connecting the SD card reader in a VM, but that does not mean it can not be done.

Here is the link to the instruction page for requesting a copy of ResScan.
