Getting changes to stick with System One xPAP

Getting changes to stick with System One xPAP
I am trying to make changes to my System One. I can get to the Clinician's menu and make changes. When I exit the provider's menu, the changes I made aren't there. The system info says the card is unlocked and has 99% free space. When I enter the provider's menu, if the S/D card is in the machine, the screen says "SD card error; remove and reinsert". If I do nothing, the machine continues to beep and display the error message. If I remove and reinsert as directed, the message shows up again as many times as I put the card back in. If I push either the ramp button or the control wheel, the message goes away, but the changes don't "stick" when exiting. What am I missing? Machine was purchased 10/11 and the Dr has made changes to the card, but I can't seem to.Thinking-about

Try making the changes with the card removed. Your doctor has probably placed files on the card that direct the machine to make specific pressure settings.

You can also try re-booting machine with the card in, and/or the card out.

Hi mummerse
I don,t use PR System One but as Sleepster said doctor has made some some changes to the card.
I think you can use the machine without the card or get a new card.

The changes are there as long as I don't reseat the SD card. Guess I will have to look into getting a new card. What happens to my nightly data if the card isn't available?

The machine capture the data and you can still view on the LCD screen.
I guess when a new card is used the machine write the data on it.

Zonk is right. When you next insert the card the data is transferred from the machine's memory to the SD card.

Also, you may be able to find the folder on the SD card that contains the pressure settings.

Reformat your SD card using your PC, or get a new one.

I ordered a new card last night. It is being shipped now. I am reluctant to delete anything from the current card till I have a back-up.

mummerse,

Make sure you read this thread before ordering an SD card, some of the newer types may not work properly in your machine:
