Today is the autumnal equinox; and the first day of Fall in the northern hemisphere. (Spring for those down under.)

I always enjoy the autumnal equinox. It signals the start of fall. I guess I am strange, I like the fall and winter. I grew up in Florida and lived in Houston for fifteen years. The break from the summer heat is a relief.

I remember that in basic training (for the Army in 1970) they made us sit through a thoroughly awful movie entitled "Equinox". Thumbs-down-1

That it is but with the falling temperatures come the migration of the snow birds. oldman

Using FlashAir W-03 SD card in machine. Access through wifi with FlashPAP or Sleep Master utilities.

I wanted to learn Binary so I enrolled in Binary 101. I seemed to have missed the first four courses. Big Grinnie

That's because Full Metal Jacket had not come out yet!
I spent a summer in San Antonio -- seemed like a lifetime.

To add to the excitement of the change of the seasons, we will now be presented with a special lunar eclipse (a perigee full moon eclipse) come Sunday night. It is called a "supermoon eclipse". According to what I read, the last time it happened was in 1982 and the next one will occur in 2033. Check you local listing for proper time and channel. Big Grin
