RE: Belsomra
Tried it instead of Ambien (which I take along with Gabapentin and Seroquel), and did not work for me. Put me into a stupefied, groggy state but still awake and with muscle restlessness. But then I may be the only person that stays awake (though dopey) after taking Xyrem. All of these drugs appear to be highly individualistic and idiosyncratic as to responses for those of us with out of the norm sleep problems. Give it a shot, Worst thing that can happen is it doesn't work for you, and you won't know unless you have tried it. It works very well for some people, and uses a different chemical approach than the other sleep drugs.
