White Deposit in Lung
I am using RESMED with humidifier and a Quattro Full Face Mask.
I have been using it for about 3 years (6000 hours) 95% of the time I sleep on my right side
I use normal tap water
I resently had surgery to my right lung where doctord found a white deposit in my right lung . After a whole range of test they cannot find an explanation for the deposit.
Anybody come accross something like this ???

Odd. I sincerely doubt it had anything to do with your tap water usage. What was the composition of the deposit? Calcium?
There's a plethora of things that cause such stuff. Why did they do the surgery to begin with?

I had bad cold and went for a chest X-ray.
From the xray it looked as though I had water on my lung.
The doctor inserted a drain but nothing happened.
They the did a Thoracotomy and found the white deposit
Seeing doctor on Tuesday and will check if it was a calcium deposit

And be sure to keep up your CPAP use! You need that to heal.

You may also find it could be a fungus of some sort. Either way, seek proper medical advice. Lungs may be taken for granted only and up to the point where you notice they are not working correctly or missing... At that point, they are no longer taken for granted....

Hard water deposits in the lungs. that'd be a new one....
