Heated Hose In Summer?

I think that makes sense; usually HVAC in cold climes reduces ambient humidity indoors when the air is cold outdoors, so the system adjusts by adding more moisture to dryer incoming air.

Many systems strive to keep the temp and humidity both at a fixed level. Many systems also allow you to tweak both independently.

Huffington's sleep site indicates that it makes sense to keep the room at 68 degrees, as this aids normal core temp cooling during deep sleep by lowering the stress of the body trying to reach a lower core temp.

All this sleep talk is making me tired; I want to climb under the covers and snuggle somebody...er,... a particular somebody.

But that seems like a general recommendation, and that one size does not fit all. I keep it at 81 in the summer and 76 in the winter, and sleep with just a sheet in the summer and a thick comforter in the winter, so I regulate things that way, but I still would never be comfortable at 68 even with the blankets. I also use a paddle fan that changes speeds when the room temp changes.

Sometimes in the summer, I don't even use the humidifier at all. Sometimes in winter.
