Heated tube question

Heated tube question
Hi,

I just got a new tube for my AirSense10 but I don’t feel it warm. I raised the temp to 86 and still won’t feel warm to the touch. I feel my nose doesn’t get so cold during the night but worry of the tube may not be working properly. When I plug it it friendly states it is plugged, just like it says on the manual. Any experience you can share with me would be appreciated. Thanks!

You won't feel any heat from the outside of the tube.

RE: Heated tube question
Not to dispute Walla Walla, but I can feel the heated hose warming a bit on mine. I do think it's never going to feel hot; 86° F max isn't really that hot IMO. The factors that affect this the most are the heated hose setting you're using, and then the room temperature. An example is my setting: my hose setting is 86° F. in a room that is 73° F. And my hose runs under the blanket for most of the last 2 feet.
