Help! [Friend needs a Cpap]
Someone said you can get a CPAP machine for nothing if you are unemployed and suffer from sleep Apnea...my friend is unemployed, living in Victoria AU and has no money...she suffers from sleep Apnea and is continually fatigued...Can anyone help with some detailed information? Thanks!

RE: Help!
contact the local hospital, you may need a referral from the GP to outpatients. Everything is free, the sleep doctors, the sleep tests, the machine. Worse case there is a mask and hose to buy, with a month rental first, before the free machine. I can't see vic being different to other states.

For auto-cpap, from machine data or software. You can set the min pressure 1 or 2cm below 95%. Or clinicians commonly use the maximum or 95% pressure for fixed pressure CPAP, this can also be used for min pressure.
