Question
Help Reading CMS-50 Data
I am reading my wife data after letting her wear my CMS-50.  She is not diagnosed but has sleep issues.  So I told her to try my CMS-50.

Generally her sleep SPo2 avg is 95 but does dip to 92.  at rest and awake she is 98-99.

Any comments ?

G'day Paradiddle1. Welcome to Apnea Board.

I've moved your thread to the main forum as it is really a therapy question, not a software question. No doubt somebody will be along presently to help with your query.

RE: Help Reading CMS-50 Data
SpO2 dropping a few points while sleeping is normal. Mid 90's sleeping Sp02 is good, Low 90's sleeping SpO2 is OK.Under 90 for anything more than a momentary dip is reason to investigate further. There is also the oxygen desaturation index to consider. ODI is the number of times SpO2 drops by at least 4% for a period of more than 10 seconds in an hour. ODI is strongly correlated with Apnea's.
