I’m willing to bet most of those are post arousal centrals. I’m curious as to what your flow limitations chart is indicating. Could you add that chart to your screenshots please. That could be your answer

RE: Still central apnea after using CPAP for 3 weeks
Hi everyone,
Thanks a lot for all the information! @Geer1 for some of them, the leak appears in the same time that the respiration starts to become less regular, for other (but less it appears) the leak seems to appear a little bit after the change of the respiration pattern. (see 2 attached CA from this night) @DeepBreathing I've watch a lot of the central apnea with a zoom, and indeed they are almost every time a small/medium leak. Should I try to fix these leaks by adjusting my mask? Or is it mouth breathing? @Sleeprider I've lowered the EPR to 1 last night, I've attached the night, I'm going to give it a few days before changing any parameters again! @Osiris357 I've added the one from this night! Don't hesitate if you want more screenshots. And thanks a lot to all of you for taking the time to help me!

All of those are post arousal and the leak appears post arousal as well. My guess is that something else is causing arousals. If you have a video camera, webcam etc try taking a video of yourself sleep and you might see something (leg movements, tossing and turning etc). I just did this myself and confirmed I am still having a number of arousals due to movements even though my sleep apnea results are good.

Hey everyone,
Sadly, I guess @Geer1 you're right. I've tried to lower my EPR to 1, still having the same AHI around 2 or 3. I'll try to film myself so ... Thanks a lot! |
