Help interpreting results.. haven’t been able to figure out OSCAR yet
Hi everyone! Thank you so much for taking the time to read this. I have been searching through the forums trying to figure everything out, but I’m overwhelmed..

last night for the first time, I slept with the ResMed VPAP S (I believe it’s the S8, there is no turn dial).. the mask I used is the Philips Resperonics Amara View minimal contact full face cushion.

I felt like I slept pretty well - much better than with the CPAP at the sleep clinic where I had my studies done..

Here are my settings and results from the machine:

ResMed VPAP S
Results:
Leak: 0.20L/s
VT: 220-960
Resp rate: 13-29
MV: 5.5-12.5
Press: 9.0
AHI: 8.3
AI: 0.0
% SPONT T: 100%
% SPONT C: 76%

Settings:
Mode: SPONT
IPAP: 9.0cm
EPAP: 6.0cm
Rise time: 500ms
Ti Max: 4.0s
Ti Min: 1.0s
Smartstart: OFF
MASK: MIR FULL
Leak alert: ON
Trigger: V HIGH
Cycle: Med
Tube length: 2m
Max Ramp 45min
Start EPAP: 4.0
Ramp: OFF

If anyone has the time to walk me through what all of the results mean, and give me any advice on my settings, I would be extremely appreciative! I apologize if I’ve left out a bunch of important information, but this is all I have.

On that note, can I get my report from my sleep studies? How would I go about getting that from my doctor?

Thank you in advance!!!
