[CPAP] Please help me understand why therapy is not showing results

RE: Please help me understand why therapy is not showing results
Suggest staying the course with the 12-20 EPR 3 setting. Give it a chance to settle in, then post a chart. Maybe consider cutting EPR back to 2 and see how it goes.

It looks like you are close to your sweet spot. Shoot for quality sleep, not numbers.

RE: Please help me understand why therapy is not showing results
I've tried something a bit different than discussed to get some more data: I have tried a min. pressure 15 with EPR 3.

As to how I feel, I feel the same as 12/9 I'd say, flow limits look a bit increased compared to it though, and I wonder if it's because EPAP is too high at 12, or IPAP too high at 15.

It is difficult for me to judge, but I will try tuning down to 14 and see what changes, unless somebody has different suggestions.

Thanks for your help

RE: Please help me understand why therapy is not showing results
Dear all,
After another couple of nights with min. 15 EPR 3 I can say the chart does look better, higher IPAP seems to have decreased AHIs by quite a margin, but EPAP 12 seems to have increased flow limits compared to EPAP 9.

As I have ordered a Bilevel and it will come soon, what do you guys think about this situation? Is it possible that EPAP 9/10 with PS 6/5 will actually help me?

Here you can see the graph for last night.
