Help please?

I had Oscar on my computer and it was working just fine.  Then I downloaded the Oscar update and my antivirus
program BitDefender will not let it run.  AAARRRGGGGHHHH. Does anyone have any ideas, I know this is really vague information, but any help would be greatly appreciated.

Turn it off, then install it. After it installs and the A/V is turned back on, you can add an exception to the A/V list.

Thank you so much!  Somehow, I got it to run finally.  I'm learning a new OS too, which is maddening.
