Help with New user on pr bipap sys one auto 60 series ds750 hs
My mom was using bipap at hospital during hospital stay with epap 5/ipap 12. The rt told me the difference of 7 is the pressure relief. On their machine I see the e and I fluctuate between the two settings. Got a prescription but not covered by insurance so I bought the bipap machine myself.
With bipap auto, I have selected 'bipap auto' mode, set min epap 5, set max ipap 12. But when I tried the machine, the e and I are the same at 5. Can someone share the knowledge on what should set? I tried min ps 3 max ps 7, then I get e at 5 and I at 8 constantly. Thanks in advance. Michelle

If you want a set pressure of 12-5 then you should set the machine to BIPAP instead of BIPAP AUTO.
