Help with Oscar/MacAir/cant upload SD card data
Hi all.  I’m new here and to Oscar- Iv been so excited to see what Oscar says but am stuck before I begin! Here’s my dilema:

-Using a newish Mac Air
- bought new Card reader
-inserted SD from AirSense 10
-went to import data In file drop down
-no pop up window to proceed
-checked on upload and says in process but nothing.

I did follow Oscar help page for first timers and followed directions but stuck at above.

Help! please Smile and thank you.

RE: Help with Oscar/MacAir/cant upload SD card data
Welcome to Apnea Board. I wish I could help out, but I know too little about Macs to be of much help. I am sure others more knowledgeable will be about soon. So this kinda serves as a welcome post and a bump up the list.

Best to your therapy, and certainly there's a few computer folk that will get you on the right track.

Hello Remmy and welcome to the forum! And to the wonderful world of Mac and OSCAR!!!

Did your card reader require you to install any special software/drivers?

Try using finder to look at the SD card and see if the files are there.

Something else to try.... Quit OSCAR and eject the SD card. Restart your laptop, insert the reader/SD card and wait about 5 seconds. Open OSCAR and try to import data from the SD card again.

Let us know how that goes....

Screenshots help a lot too so if you see the screen doing something strange take the snapshot and post tit in the forum, would be a big help

I was thinking MacBook Air (laptop), but the OP would need to confirm.

If it is a MacBook Air then it might be the permissions issue with Mac asking if you want to allow access to a removable drive:

hey..thanks so much for your response. sorry it took me this long to get back here! so yes I was finally successful. it was a security thing (of course), so finally I found a little message that I could control/click on file to bypass the security of only opening known app developers...so now I have a ton a data to comb through and try to understand. cheers.
