RE: Hi, I'm new and two weeks into therapy
Fifth night on 8-12:

AHI: 3.0
95th: 10.5
90th: 10.5
Plateau: 1%
High Leak Flow: 0%
NRI: 0.25
EPI: 1
While Breathing Hours: 9.2

Had a stuffy nose and really only slept 5 or so hours.
Decided not to take melatonin last night, don't wanna be constantly on it.
Might take a nap during the day with the machine if I'm tired.

Thanks for all the help, despite the cold, the numbers look pretty consistent now.

Sixth night on 8-12:

AHI: 2.0
95th: 11.0
90th: 8.5
Plateau: 1%
High Leak Flow: 2%
NRI: 1.0
EPI: 1
While Breathing Hours: 9.3

It was a watery night. I jacked up the heat/humidifier setting to test it out, and woke up twice with the mask doing heavy noise on inhalation. Pulling the mask revealed tons of water coming out of the mask. I think the main reason is the room I'm staying at the moment has no heater and it gets damn cold. Which means I gotta use a low heat/humidifier setting until I get back home Monday or get one of those snuggle hose thingies. I think that was also the contributor to my first ever leak registered.

Still learning about this machine, but it's nice to see good numbers in the process!

Huesito, if you have a little more to spend, Supplier #7 (Sleepzone) offers a universal heated hose that works extremely well to prevent condensation. It is warmer than the hoses supplied by Respironics and Resmed, and includes a hose cover. I used one for 6 years before the manufacturers came out with heated hoses. They are durable enough to outlast your machine, and work very well. The cost seems more reasonable when you consider you will use it many years.

In spite of condensation, you're doing great!

Thanks Sleeprider. I'll take a look at it.

Seventh night on 8-12:

AHI: 2.0
95th: 8.0
90th: 8.5
Plateau: 0%
High Leak Flow: 0%
NRI: 0.25
EPI: 0
While Breathing Hours: 6.0

Didn't sleep much this night, I had to get up early and fly cross country back home.

Eighth night on 8-12:

AHI: 4.0
95th: 10.5
90th: 9.5
Plateau: 0%
High Leak Flow: 0%
NRI: 0.50
EPI: 2
While Breathing Hours: 9.3

Back home extremely tired after a long flight. Heated room now though, so no more rainout. I actually woke up with a bit of a dry mouth, so I'm gonna have to play with the humidifier settings a bit more again. Just noticed in the AM that I had an extra pillow, and I think that made me sleep face up more than I would want to, which I think explains the slightly higher AHI. I'll test my theory tonight. Overall, not bad...

It's starting to look pretty good. The ninth night you just posted, it appears our pressure did not change all night which is not typical of the other nights.

Yeah.... wonder if the cold I had is wearing off... plus now I'm sleeping in my bed at home, in a heated room. I set the humidifier at 5, and no rainout, which was great.

We'll see what the next few days look like. Thanks for all the help!
