Am just got diagnosed with sleep apnea.. Any ideas what Cpap is easy to use and flexible in use?

Where do you live, if in US ... do you have insurance or buying out of pocket
You cannot go wrong with either ResMed S9 or Phillips Respironcis System one (PRS1)
Avoid any Resmed S9 with Escape in the name (Escape or Escape Auto) S9 AutoSet and S9 Elite are data capable machines
(model name next to power button)

For PRS1 machines, avoid models numbers below 460. Auto (560) and Pro (460) are data capable machines
(model number shown at bottom side label)

Both machines supported by SleepyHead software and S9 also supported by ResScan software

I find S9 user friendly and easy to access the data on the LCD

Its common to try several masks to find the right one, good mask fit is essential for efficient therapy

Anne Franziska, welcome, they best CPAP's are auto CPAP's, most of us use either a Resmed or Phillips brand. They are more expensive but have more flexibility are data capable so you are more in charge of your own treatment and give most people more comfort.
The difference between a straight CPAP and an Auto is the straight CPAP blows constant pressure the whole night so depend on what your Sleep specialist prescribes it could be say 10. With an Auto CPAP you have a range that you can change so it may start at a low of say 4 and kicks in at higher pressures when and as you need it so it's not constant. Dta capable CPAP's are good, you can track how you breathe each minute of the night and view things like your AHI and mask leaks. Not many people get told the difference between the machine before they get them. Please ask any questions you have because it can seem daunting at the start but well worth it in the end.

I got the results of my sleep study back today. Drum roll please..........
AHI: 58.3/hr
lowest SpO2: 64%
awakenings: 26
time spent below Sp02 of 90%: 30.8%

I feel like I should win something.

Going for my titration/fitting next week. Good thing is the doc prescribes ResMed S9s. Just not sure what model he's going to recommend yet.

wintermute, try telling him you want a Autoset and if he asks why, tell him for comfort and so you can manage your own therapy.
