"Horrible AHI" per Sleepyhead
I'm sure by now anyone using Sleepyhead has been greeted at one time or another with this message:
"You had an AHI of 13.1 which is considered
horrible, please consult your doctor"
I have to (mostly tongue-in-cheekly) object to such harsh language considering just the day before I had an AHI of under 5.0 AND...received a
'Silver Medal' from Resmed!
Oh, also...wanted to point out---I left my mask off and running for a few minutes this morning and the software marked this as running 'obstructive' episodes (light blue line). So...take note...not all SH obstructives are created equal.
Peace
RE: "Horrible AHI" per Sleepyhead
What the heck is a "running obstructive episode"?

Tongue Suck Technique for prevention of mouth breathing:
- Place your tongue behind your front teeth on the roof of your mouth
- let your tongue fill the space between the upper molars
- gently suck to form a light vacuum
Practising during the day can help you to keep it at night

Oh man, that's good.
Ha, thank's Daria. I think without a sense of humor, the whole idea of this would be the end of me.
