Regarding the P10, it doesn't solve the problem for everyone. I used to use one of those masks, (for quite awhile btw, and after awhile, my nose got so irritated, ) and yes, through rinses, Lanolin cream, Ayr gel, and Flonase,) I still had problems and had to quit using it.
To add another point, I also tried all sizes of pillows, no go for me.

Hi, I had turbinate reduction surgery in 2014 along with correction of a pretty weird deviated septum and some work to open one of my sinuses to drain properly. Since I had more done than you are considering, my recovery may have been more extensive than you will have...but since no one has exactly addressed your question...

1. My nose was packed and had tubes inserted. Used the Neil Med rinse beginning post-op day 1 three time a day through the tubes to keep them clear.

2. Very minimal pain...needed a couple tylenol the first day as I recall. Never even filled the vicodin rx.

3. Follow-up at two weeks, tubes removed, a little irrigation. Then I could blow my nose gently.

4. I hated the {insert curse word of choice} tubes, I was miserable with them in. That said, I would do it all again in a heartbeat.

5. Pay attention to the long term aftercare. Humidity levels in your home matter, drink plenty of water, keep up the Neil-med rinse long term, flonase or whatever, as prescribed, etc.
