How did you choose your 1st cpap
#31
RE: How did you chose your 1st cpap
The Respironics System One APAP I have now is the only one I had any input on. I told my sleep doc I wanted to try an APAP.

This was the machine I got.

My first CPAP was a DeVilbiss POS with humidifier which I got in 2002 and used it until 2007 when it quit working. It was like sleeping with a vacuum attached to your nose. Too-funny

The second CPAP was a ResMed S8 Escape machine with humidifier. It was quieter than the DeVilbiss it replaced but not by much.

As far as my choice of machines, I have never had one. It was the one provided by the DME. Bigwink
