RE: How many hours on your S9 autoset?
My less than a day old S9 AutoSet has 0 hours on it. Tongue

Just some test minutes...

My mother's, on the other hand, has over 3600 hrs.

ResMed S9 Autoset
Since Oct 4th, 2013:
Total Hrs: 861
Median Daily Usage 7.59
Avg Daily Usage 7.29

I have not noticed any difference except an intensified squelling noise when exhaling. Changing the filter lessened it slightly. It seems to be realated to my pressure being turned up. I am now on 15 with a Ramp up from 12. Autoset had the unit going above 18. That was pretty noisy also.
Anything else??

ThanksJust an update on noise>
I tried moving the CPAP unit from the nightstand near the bed. I used one of the "kiddie" stepstools and it is now about 10 inches off the floor next to the bed. Made sure the tubing end was securley fastened to the H5i humidifier coupler. Even gave me more tubing room. That rear outlet from the S9 series is an issue.

"Voila" ! No perceptible noise. Could not hear the raspy squell sound when exhaling and could not hear any wind "noise" except in my mask - nothing from the unit. Big difference to me.

I asked my wife if it was better last night (even though the mask leak gave me some trouble for no apparant reason).

She said "I don't know - I slept most of the night" .
I guess that is a good answer - right?

I'm pretty sure I got that new trick from this forum. Thanks for that. Made the visit more than worthwhile.

Glad I read it. Thanks

Mine has 374 hours, though when I got it, it already had 333 on it.

I'm about here right now,

Hate-cpap 3 I-love-CPAP

after 41 hours (5 nights).
